Skilled Careers are currently working with an award-winning, design-led structural engineering consultancy in the West End of London who are looking to add a Graduate Structural Engineer (+1) to their growing team.

Based close to Tottenham Court Road, the consultancy has recently moved into a brand-new office, making this an exciting time to join a business that is continuing to grow.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Structural Engineer who is still relatively early in their career and is looking to develop their technical experience within a genuinely design-focused environment. The consultancy works closely with architects and other design professionals, delivering bespoke structural solutions across a variety of architecturally led projects.

The Company

The practice brings together significant technical expertise, practical knowledge and experience gained from leading design-focused practices across the UK and Europe.

Working as part of a multi-national and multi-lingual team, the consultancy uses the latest analysis and design software to deliver bespoke, efficient structural solutions across projects of varying scale and complexity.

Their current portfolio includes:

  • Residential developments, including new-build, contemporary refurbishment and basement projects
  • Commercial developments
  • Mixed-use schemes
  • Hotels & resorts
  • Offices and retail
  • Education projects

This is an excellent environment for someone who wants exposure to interesting, architecturally led schemes rather than working on repetitive projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
