Role Description
This is a full-time Graduate Structural Engineer role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with a hybrid working arrangement that allows some work from home.
The Graduate Structural Engineer will support the design and analysis of building and infrastructure projects, carrying out structural calculations and assisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications. Typical tasks include:

- Performing structural analysis under supervision
- Contributing to design reports
- Coordinating with senior engineers, designers, and other project stakeholders

The role also involves using CAD and other engineering software, attending site visits when required, and helping to ensure designs comply with relevant standards and client requirements.
The successful candidate will be encouraged to grow professionally through on-the-job learning, mentoring, and involvement in a variety of projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with a solid understanding of fundamental engineering principles.
- Candidates should possess skills in Structural Analysis and Calculations to support the design and verification of structural elements.
- Candidates should possess skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to assist in producing clear and accurate drawings and models.
- Relevant degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or closely related discipline), ideally from an accredited program.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate technical information clearly in writing and verbally.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to learn from feedback and guidance.
- Familiarity with relevant design codes and standards in the UK (e.g., Eurocodes, British Standards) is beneficial.
- Interest in pursuing professional registration (e.g., with ICE or IStructE) and commitment to ongoing professional development is an advantage.
