Grant Mills Wood, a well established property firm based just off Bond Street in Central London, a short walk from Bond Street & Oxford Circus stations. The firm requires a confident, outgoing and enthusiastic candidate to join our firm of general practice surveyors.

The Role

The role, based in our Mayfair office, will predominately involve providing support to our busy Professional Services and Agency teams. Initially you will be shadowing senior staff but increasingly will be given the opportunity to work on your own and have direct client contact. Full APC support will be provided, the business has plenty of work in other areas to provide rounded experience.

On a day-to-day basis, the role will involve assisting with inspections and measurements, preparing reports and marketing reports, gathering market data, and supporting agency negotiations and assisting with rent reviews and lease renewals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
