About The Role
Are you looking to build your career with one of the UK's leading property consultancies?
We're seeking a Graduate Building Surveyor to join our established Building Consultancy team, working alongside experienced Chartered Surveyors across a diverse range of commercial property instructions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience from day one, develop your technical knowledge, and work directly with clients across a wide variety of projects and sectors.
You'll work on live instructions across office, industrial, retail, healthcare, leisure and PRS assets, gaining exposure to both project and professional work while receiving structured support towards your APC and MRICS qualification.
The Role
As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you'll assist with and undertake a broad range of building surveying instructions, including:
- Project management and contract administration
- Dilapidations advice and negotiations
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Pre-acquisition surveys
- Technical due diligence
- Schedules of Condition
- Defect analysis and building pathology
- Reinstatement Cost Assessments
- Preparation of specifications and technical reports
- Supporting party wall instructions
- Client liaison and stakeholder management
You'll have the opportunity to develop strong client relationships, build your professional network and take increasing responsibility as your experience grows.

What We're Looking For
- Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
- Ambition to become MRICS qualified
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Professional and client-focused mindset
- Team player with a collaborative attitude
- Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project and NBS Specification Writer would be advantageous but is not essential.

You'll join a highly experienced team of Chartered Surveyors working across a broad range of sectors and services. We pride ourselves on providing graduates with genuine responsibility, exposure to high-profile projects and the support needed to develop into successful Building Surveyors.
Alongside technical development, you'll be encouraged to contribute to business development activities, attend industry events and build your profile within the market.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious graduate to launch their career within a leading Building Consultancy team and gain exposure to a varied portfolio of projects and clients from the outset.
