Job Title: Graduate Sustainability Consultant

Location: 52 Lant St, SE1 1RB
Salary: Competitive
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Working Hours: 9.00-5.30 Monday-Friday

Recorra is a leading circular economy company, providing services for recycling, data destruction, and office supplies in London and the South East. We are born environmentalists, formed by Friends of the Earth in 1988 and now operating as an independent commercial organisation.

The Role:

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Graduate Sustainability Consultant to join our Sustainability team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in promoting and implementing recycling initiatives across our London portfolio, helping to raise awareness and engage with clients to improve recycling rates.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on the commitments of Recorra’s ‘Sustainability Strategies’ created for our clients
  • Carry out behaviour change activities such as recycling improvement strategies, awareness days, and community volunteering
  • Deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions to educate and inspire individuals and groups on sustainable waste management practices
  • Collaborate internally to create engaging content to reach a wider audience and encourage participation
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive recycling initiatives

About You:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with and influence diverse audiences
  • A confident approach to presenting, with the ability to present in a variety of workshops, presentations, and seminars
  • Good organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • An eye for creating presentations through Microsoft and Canva
