About the Role
Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience working with young people? Are you considering a career in teaching or education and want to gain hands-on experience in a secondary school?
A secondary school in Hammersmith and Fulham is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team.
Responsibilities
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to support students with their learning and development across the school.

- Supporting students in the classroom and during lessons
- Working with individuals and small groups to help improve their understanding
- Providing additional support to students who require extra help with their learning
- Helping teachers prepare resources and maintain a positive learning environment
- Supporting students with their confidence, engagement, and progress
- Assisting with behaviour management and encouraging positive attitudes towards learning
- Building positive relationships with students and staff
- Supporting the wider school team with day-to-day duties where required

The Candidate
The school is looking for a motivated, patient, and enthusiastic graduate with a genuine interest in working with young people.
- Previous experience working with children or young people would be beneficial but is not essential.
- The role would suit graduates considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, SEN, or wider education.
- Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to build good relationships with students are essential.
