The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced teachers, supporting pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. You will play a key role in helping children achieve their academic potential while developing the practical classroom skills needed for a successful career in education.
Responsibilities Include
- Supporting pupils during lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Delivering targeted interventions in phonics, reading, writing, and mathematics.
- Working with individual pupils and small groups to accelerate progress.
- Supporting pupils with a range of learning abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEND).
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and learning resources.
- Promoting positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Helping children develop confidence, independence, resilience, and a love of learning.

About You
To be considered for this Graduate Teaching Assistant role, you will have:
- A 2:1 degree or above from a UK university.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for education and child development.
