Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Graduate Teaching Assistant Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will become an important member of the school's teaching and learning team.

Rather than simply providing general classroom support, the school will look to utilise your degree knowledge, academic strengths and communication skills.

You could be responsible for:

  • Supporting pupils during classroom lessons
  • Delivering targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions
  • Helping pupils prepare for GCSE examinations
  • Supporting students who have fallen behind academically
  • Stretching higher-achieving pupils
  • Providing subject-specific tuition
  • Supporting pupils with SEN and EHCPs
  • Assisting teachers with lesson preparation
  • Mentoring pupils who require additional guidance
  • Leading intervention sessions independently
  • Supporting extracurricular and enrichment activities

Who Are We Looking For?

KPI Education is particularly keen to hear from graduates with a 2:1 or First-Class degree, although applications from graduates with strong experience and a genuine passion for education are also welcomed.

The Perfect Route Into Teaching

For graduates considering becoming a teacher, this is an excellent opportunity to spend an entire academic year understanding how successful schools operate.

You will gain experience in lesson delivery, behaviour management, intervention, safeguarding and curriculum support, while learning directly from experienced teachers.
