Graduate Teaching Assistant £85 - £100 per day

Immediate start until July 2027 ‘Good’ primary school based in Wolverhampton 1:1, small-group and general TA responsibilities across the key stage

The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils through 1:1 work, small-group activities, and general classroom responsibilities across the key stage. You will help children stay focused, understand instructions, and build confidence with their learning. You will also support the class teacher with classroom routines, pupil engagement, and day-to-day learning activities.

The Candidate

This role will suit a creative graduate who is reliable, proactive, and keen to gain hands-on primary school experience. You should be confident working with children, able to explain tasks clearly, and willing to get involved in all areas of classroom life. This is a strong opportunity for someone considering teacher training or a long-term career in education.

Requirements

  • 2:2 degree or above in a creative subject.
  • A genuine interest in primary education and classroom support.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain learning clearly.
  • A patient, organised, and proactive approach when supporting pupils.
  • Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
