Full Time | Fixed-Term Contract (Two Terms) with potential to progress to a sponsored PGCE | Start Date: January 2027
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented graduate with a passion for economics and an interest in pursuing a career in teaching. The role is initially offered on a two-term fixed-term contract and provides an excellent pathway into the profession. Candidates who demonstrate strong potential, commitment, and aptitude for teaching may be considered for progression to a sponsored PGCE programme.
We are looking for an inspiring individual who can share their enthusiasm for economics with our students. Applicants should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a nurturing approach that supports and motivates pupils to achieve their potential.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate:
- A strong academic background in Economics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An inspiring approach to teaching and learning
The successful candidate will benefit from comprehensive support and mentoring from both the Economics and Business Department and the School's trainee teacher departments. They will also receive guidance and support from the Head, whose specialist expertise is in economics. This opportunity provides an exceptional foundation for developing teaching skills, gaining classroom experience, and preparing for a future teaching career.
