Concrete Preservation Technologies Limited (CPT) is looking for an ambitious and motivated Graduate Technical Sales Executive to join our growing commercial team based in Long Eaton, Nottingham.

This is an exciting opportunity for a STEM graduate looking to develop a career that combines engineering, technical problem-solving and business development. No previous sales experience is required—we provide full technical and commercial training, mentoring and a structured career development programme.

Working alongside our experienced engineers and sales team, you will learn how to provide specialist corrosion protection solutions to some of the UK's largest infrastructure owners, consultants and specialist contractors.

The Role

As a Graduate Technical Sales Executive, you will:

  • Develop an understanding of reinforced concrete deterioration, corrosion mechanisms and cathodic protection systems.
  • Learn CPT's range of specialist corrosion protection products and engineering services.
  • Prepare technical quotations, budget estimates and proposals for clients.
  • Support customers by providing technical advice on corrosion protection solutions.
  • Build long-term relationships with consulting engineers, asset owners and specialist contractors.
  • Attend client meetings, technical presentations and industry events throughout the UK.
  • Work closely with our Design, Surveys and Technical teams to develop practical engineering solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support the continued growth of the business.
  • Maintain accurate records using our CRM system and assist with sales forecasting.
  • Develop into a trusted technical advisor capable of managing your own client portfolio.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, personable and keen to build a long-term career. Ideally you will have:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Construction Management or another STEM discipline.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence speaking with clients, trade workers, engineering teams, and senior managers, both over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A willingness to learn technical engineering concepts.
  • A commercial mindset with an interest in business development.
  • The ability to work independently whilst also contributing to a collaborative team.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to travel throughout the UK when required.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a STEM subject (essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Right to work in the UK

Hybrid working available following successful completion of probation.
Frequent UK travel with occasional overnight stays.
