Introduction

Are you a recent or soon-to-be graduate in physics, engineering or a related field, keen to apply your technical appreciation of physics and engineering to guide investment and business choices in the telecommunications sector? Are you fascinated by the changing way we communicate and share information and want to shape the future? Do you have a curious mindset and the drive to uncover challenges in making telecommunications technologies and processes work at a cost and scale that makes sense?

If so, then this could be a great role for you!

Successful candidates can join us between May and October 2027. There is no deadline for this role, as we recruit on a rolling basis. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

Who we are

Our Advisory team works at the forefront of emerging technology, helping organisations turn innovation into commercial success. Although this role will spend most of its time supporting clients in the telecommunications sector, we encourage our consultants to bring their expertise across industries, particularly in areas where communications, infrastructure and energy are becoming increasingly interconnected.

You'll work with a wide range of organisations, from fast-growing technology pioneers and infrastructure providers to telecoms operators and investors. Together, we help clients navigate uncertainty, evaluate opportunities and make informed strategic judgements.

Projects typically involve assessing new markets, understanding competitive landscapes, shaping go-to-market strategies, supporting investment judgements and exploring future technology pathways. Our work covers cutting-edge technologies including direct-to-device services, non-terrestrial networks, high-altitude platform systems (HAPS) and emerging space-based communications.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
