Are you a recent university graduate with an engineering degree and a passion for understanding how things work? Are you looking for an opportunity to turn your academic knowledge into practical, hands-on engineering experience and build a career in engineering test?
Perhaps you've completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or a related discipline. You may have completed university projects involving testing, prototyping, CAD, data analysis, or problem-solving and are now looking for your first opportunity to develop your skills in an exciting engineering environment.

As a Graduate Engineering Test Technician, you'll have the opportunity to apply the knowledge you've developed through your degree in a practical engineering environment. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience across a broad range of engineering test activities.
As a key member of our Engineering team, you'll be:
- Creating and assembling test fixtures
- Using SolidWorks CAD to support test and engineering activities
- Programming and debugging Arduino microcontroller code
- Preparing aircraft seating components and assemblies for testing
- Supporting and carrying out mechanical and electrical testing
- Recording, analysing and interpreting test results
- Monitoring performance and identifying potential issues
- Supporting fault-finding, diagnostics, and root-cause investigations
- Assisting with the development and improvement of test methods and processes
- Working collaboratively with engineers across a range of technical projects
- Applying a practical, analytical, and methodical approach to engineering challenges
π§ What we Look For in our Graduate Test Engineers
We're looking for a recent graduate who is enthusiastic about engineering and keen to develop their practical test and problem-solving skills.
You'll bring:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar
- A genuine interest in engineering test, validation, and product development
- An understanding of engineering principles gained through your degree
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to investigating problems
- An interest in mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Some experience with CAD, ideally SolidWorks, through university, projects, or previous experience
- The ability to understand technical information, interpret results, and communicate your findings clearly
- A practical, hands-on approach and enthusiasm for learning new skills
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an engineering team
