Graduate Town Planner Responsibilities Will Include
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications.
- Supporting planning assessments, research, and development appraisals.
- Undertaking policy research and reviewing local and national planning policy.
- Assisting with planning statements, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Liaising with clients, local planning authorities, and other consultants.
- Supporting senior planners with a range of strategic and development planning projects.
- Attending meetings, site visits, and planning consultations where appropriate.
- Keeping up to date with changes to planning legislation, policy, and guidance.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across planning, development, architecture, and other professional disciplines.

Requirements For The Graduate Town Planner Role Will Include
- A RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
- A genuine interest in planning and the built environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good research, analytical, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning.
- A full UK driving licence would be advantageous due to the potential for site visits.
