Job Title: Graduate Town Planner

Location: Macclesfield
Salary: GBP27,000 - GBP30,000
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic Town Planning consultancy who provide their expertise to high profile projects across various sectors across the UK. They are on the lookout for a talented and proactive Graduate Town Planner to join their Macclesfield offices.

Duties For The Role Of Graduate Town Planner
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications.
- Supporting planning appraisals and site assessments.
- Undertaking research into planning policy, legislation and local planning matters.
- Assisting with planning statements, reports and other supporting documentation.
- Monitoring planning applications and liaising with local planning authorities.
- Supporting consultants with pre-application enquiries and planning negotiations.
- Assisting with planning appeals and development plan representations.
- Carrying out research into development opportunities and planning constraints

Requirements For The Role Of Graduate Town Planner
- A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Geography, Urban Design or a related subject.
- A genuine interest in the planning and development sector.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good research and analytical abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A professional and personable approach when dealing with clients and stakeholders.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
