Halo does graduate careers differently.
We don’t hire experienced people into senior roles. Everyone starts at the beginning, learns the business properly and progresses from within. That means the people leading teams at Halo today started through the same route you will.
Our Graduate Scheme is open to graduates from any degree subject. You don’t need a technology degree or previous software experience.
You’ll start as a Support Technician, working directly with customers and learning how our software is used to solve real business problems. From there, your career can take different directions. Many graduates move into Software Consultancy, while others progress into areas across the wider business.

Halo is a privately owned British software company building service management software used by organisations around the world. We develop, sell, implement and support our products ourselves, so you’ll get exposure to how a global software company actually operates.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for ambitious, curious graduates who want to learn quickly and take responsibility early.
A 2:1 degree and BBB or higher at A-Level are preferred, but we consider applications as a whole.

You’ll also need unrestricted right to work and remain in the UK.
The practical stuff
- £35,000 starting salary
- Permanent, full-time role
- Office-based in Ipswich, Suffolk
- 40 hours per week
- Start dates throughout the year
- Any degree subject
- No previous software experience required
You’ll work alongside other graduates and people who came through the same route, learning through real work from the start.
