Key Responsibilities
- Support the team in delivering a range of accounting, audit and tax services to clients.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, management accounts and other financial reports.
- Support audit engagements, including gathering information, performing basic testing and preparing audit documentation.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and calculations, and support the team with Revenue-related matters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and financial information.
- Liaise with clients and colleagues to obtain information and resolve queries in a professional manner.
- Complete routine accounting and administrative tasks accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Develop an understanding of clients’ businesses and the financial and regulatory requirements relevant to them.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across different service areas while also taking responsibility for individual tasks.
- Continually develop technical knowledge and professional skills through on-the-job experience and professional examinations.
- Contribute to delivering high-quality work while adhering to Xeinadin’s processes, standards and values.
Key Requirements
We are looking for someone who is:
- Completing a business or finance related third-level qualification. (Currently in your final year)
- On track for a 2.1 degree or higher
- Motivated to pursue a professional Accounting or Tax qualification.
- Curious, eager to learn and ready to take on new challenges.
- Enjoys building relationships and working collaboratively.
- Has strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Enthusiastic about helping businesses and making a positive impact for clients.
