GRADUATE TRAINING PROGRAMME - 2026

We’re looking for people who already get hospitality and casual dining and are ready to understand the whole business, not just one corner of it. You won’t be standing at the back, taking notes. You’ll spend time training to Assistant Manager level, getting properly stuck into restaurant life and work on live projects at Honest HQ. Real responsibility. Real outputs. Real development.

YOUR 18 MONTHS WILL LOOK LIKE…

Foundation – 3 months

This is all about the basics of Honest, who we are and what we stand for. It’ll be on the floor, learning each area, working all of the shifts, and understanding what works and what doesn’t. But you’ll be doing this through a leader’s lens.

Operational Depth – 6 months

This is where it ramps up and is focused on your development to Assistant Manager. You’ll be helping to manage the business, running shifts and owning the results. Driving and motivating the team all with the business KPIs and goals in mind.

Honest Central Support – 6 months

Now is the chance to see the big picture. You’ll be working on live projects across the central support teams: People, Ops, Finance and Marketing. You’ll have work that matters, real deadlines to meet, and stakeholders to manage.

Landing – 3 months

Here you’ll finish your projects, present the work or outcome to the leadership team. You’ll have your permanent role confirmed and you’ll get yourself ready for it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

SO, WHAT WILL YOU ACTUALLY BE DOING?

You’ll move through both sides of Honest: the restaurants that bring the brand to life and the teams behind the scenes who help them succeed. The scheme is rotational, so your order may differ, but everyone completes both worlds.

YOU’LL GET STUCK IN FROM DAY ONE…

  • Learning full front-of-house and back-of-house operations, food safety and compliance.
  • Running shifts, leading teams and coaching team members with confidence.
  • Understanding restaurant P&L, trading performance and how everyday decisions affect results.
  • Working on live HQ projects with deadlines, outputs and stakeholders who will use your work.
  • Using Excel for data analysis and commercial modelling, not just building spreadsheets.
  • Building clear PowerPoint presentations and presenting your thinking to senior leaders.
  • Working across teams, asking good questions and bringing restaurant insight into business decisions.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

  • May have already started your hospitality journey and are already part of the Honest Team.
  • Has just finished their degree, or within the last 2 year, with at least a 2:2
  • Is looking to build a career in hospitality
  • Is passionate about 'old school hospitality' and great, fresh food to make someone's day
  • Wants to understand a whole business, not just one role.
  • Ask “why do we do it this way?” and genuinely want a better answer.
  • Can hold themselves accountable without being told.
  • Can move fast, stay curious and bring people with you.
  • Seeks out direct feedback
  • Wants real responsibility and plenty of learning.
