Glasgow

Are you a Geography, Geology, Civil Engineering or Land Surveying graduate looking to begin a practical career within utility surveying?

Do you want a varied, site-based role where you will receive full training on specialist survey equipment while working across construction, engineering and infrastructure projects throughout the UK?

On offer is the opportunity to join a growing surveying specialist that provides accurate spatial, geophysical and environmental data for engineering design, construction planning and asset management. The company uses modern technology including Ground Penetrating Radar, Electromagnetic Location, GNSS, LiDAR, UAV data capture and 3D laser scanning.

In this role, you will accompany experienced Senior Utility Surveyors to sites, helping to identify and map underground utilities using GPR, EML and GNSS equipment. You will collect and process accurate site data while receiving the technical training, mentoring and industry knowledge required to progress into a qualified Utility Surveyor.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
