Westmorland Veterinary Group is a group of two veterinary practices located in the stunning county of Cumbria. You will be based at our Kendal Surgery but may also be required to work at our Kirkby Lonsdale Surgery too. Kendal is situated between the beautiful Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks, providing access to outdoor activities and landscapes. Kendal is easily accessible by car from the M6 and by train via the West Coast Rail Line. The town also has frequent bus services to local suburbs and regional destinations.
We have a dedicated and caring team of 10 Vets, 9 Nurses, 2 VCAs and a fantastic Administration team (including 2 of our vets which have been through the Graduate Academy programme).
We have an excellent purpose-built premises with digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, dental equipment, multiparameter, AI microscope and a wide range of other equipment. Enjoy a welcoming environment with structured support and flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

You will work 37.5 hours per week over a 4-day week. You will be part of our weekend rota working a share of Saturday and Sunday mornings. No out of hours which allows a great work life balance.
In terms of support, you will be allocated a GDP advisor, and have weekly meetings to discuss progress. You will also never be in sole charge.
