PURPOSE
This graduate role is part of SITA Borders' Talent Accelerator 12-Month Graduate Programme in the UK. You will work on business-critical projects across Bids/Pre-sales & Commercial, supporting teams with conducting analysis, creating business cases and process improvement. The programme gives you structured exposure to high-value project work and hands-on development. Strong performers will have the opportunity to progress into a second year of deeper specialisation and qualification through our apprenticeship pathway — building the foundations for a long-term career in SITA Borders.
Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate in the UK, you will support and own project activities across Consulting, Bids/Pre-sales and Commercial, working with project managers, functional leads and the programme lead. Your exact work will depend on the projects you are assigned to, but examples include:
- Assisting with consulting projects, such as developing customer-facing materials, conducting research and analysis, and translating complex information into clear recommendations and deliverables for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conducting research and analysis to strengthen bid responses, customer presentations and business cases.
- Building and maintaining reusable bid assets, knowledge repositories and proposal content libraries to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Supporting active customer opportunities by coordinating information, tracking actions and helping ensure high-quality proposal submissions.
- Analysing market trends, customer requirements and competitor activities to identify opportunities to strengthen SITA Borders' competitive position.
- Helping identify and implement AI-enabled improvements that accelerate bid development, commercial analysis and knowledge management.
- Supporting the development of commercial models, pricing strategies and financial analyses that underpin customer proposals and investment decisions.
- Turning analysis into clear, structured recommendations for stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
