Graduate/Junior Game Developer (Igaming)
I'm currently working with a highly expansive and well-established Igaming company in Birmingham who have recently expanded into the online world of Gambling and have some big plans over the next 6 to 12 months. They are looking for Junior or Graduate Game Developer who will have the opportunity to grow throughout their career with the company.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize graphical applications for browser-based games.
- Work at the core of a brand new team in a growth area of the business.
- Work with PixiJS and related libraries to bring game visuals and interactions to life.
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to ensure smooth, engaging gameplay experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable code with a strong focus on performance.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve applications for seamless performance across platforms.

Key Skills and Experience:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with PixiJS or similar 2D rendering libraries.
- Demonstrated experience developing graphical applications or interactive media within web browsers.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and web graphics.
- Familiarity with game development frameworks and performance optimization techniques.
