Job Summary
At GRAHAM, we are committed to growth and innovation. As our business continues to expand, we are looking for enthusiastic Graduates to join our Design Team within our Building Division.
As a Graduate Design Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in bringing construction projects from concept to reality. Working alongside designers, engineers, and project managers, you’ll help coordinate drawings, plans, and technical information to make sure everything fits together on site. You don’t need specialist experience to start, just an interest in how things are built, a good eye for detail, and the drive to learn.
This role gives you the chance to develop practical skills while building your understanding of the design process in construction. You’ll gain hands-on experience, grow your confidence with digital tools, and see how your work directly contributes to creating real buildings and infrastructure.
If you’re passionate about construction and have an eye for detail, this is your chance to build a career with purpose.
Our head office is based in Hillsborough, Northern Ireland; however, this role will involve working on projects across London. Therefore, a willingness to travel and stay away from home when required is essential.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
