Trainee Site Manager - Graduate Apprenticeship

At GRAHAM, we are seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Site Manager to join our Construction team. Supporting the delivery of a range of building projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and public sector developments, you'll work alongside experienced site professionals while studying towards a fully funded Higher Apprenticeship qualification.

You'll gain hands-on experience in health and safety management, site coordination, programme delivery, subcontractor supervision, quality assurance, and project management. Working on complex construction projects from site set-up through to completion, you'll learn how high-quality buildings are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

This is an excellent opportunity to begin your career in construction management with a company that values integrity, innovation, and excellence. If you're passionate about construction, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to develop your technical and leadership skills, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the delivery of construction projects from site set-up through to completion.
  • Assist the Site Management team in coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress, and maintaining programme targets.
  • Promote and uphold the highest standards of health, safety, environmental compliance, and quality on site.
  • Assist with the procurement and management of materials, plant, and site logistics.
  • Build effective working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the wider project team.
  • Support project close-out activities, including snagging, testing and commissioning, and client handover.

This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the Trainee Site Manager and the range of duties to be undertaken.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
