Role Overview
The grain size inspector is responsible to ensure that the turbine casting blades meet the strict inspection requirement imposed by Engineering while operating at the highest quality industry standards.
An exciting opportunity has arisen with the Precision casting facility for a Grain Size Inspector. The Precision Casting Facility manufactures single crystal and directionally solidified turbine blades for civil aerospace. The grain size inspector is responsible to ensure that the turbine casting blades meet the strict inspection requirement imposed by Engineering while operating at the highest quality industry standards.
Role Accountabilities:
- Operate within a team environment, working together to deliver on customer requirement
- Operate safely and to the required health and safety standards (specifically Radiation)
- Continually drive to make improvements to the process and products

Essential Skills/Qualifications Required:

- Basic computer literacy
- Previous experience advantageous

Salary and Grade
The professional level and salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate but is anticipated to GBR - Derby Works (DDH) 2.
