Role description: Project Support
VODA is looking for a Grant Holder Support Officer to work directly with VCSE organisations in North Tyneside that are funded by, or seeking funding from, the National Lottery Community Fund (NLCF). You will manage a caseload of organisations, providing practical one-to-one support to help them strengthen their governance, financial management, policies, monitoring and evaluation, manage risk and successfully achieve their grant outcomes. You will work alongside organisations through an organisational health check process, identifying areas where they may need additional support and helping them to develop.

This is a new role within a wider two-year pilot programme across Tyne and Wear and County Durham. You will work closely with colleagues at VODA, the National Lottery Community Fund and equivalent Grant Holder Support Officers based within our sister local infrastructure organisations. It is a great opportunity for someone with experience in the VCSE sector, or providing advice and guidance, who enjoys building relationships and helping organisations become stronger and more sustainable.

Hours: 18.5 hours per week
Salary: £26,213 to £28,140 per annum, pro rata
Contract: Funded for two years
