Job Title
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong grant writing or fundraising experience who is committed to our mission. You will design and implement a sustainable funding strategy that covers both operational and programme costs. Your ability to balance project-specific bids with unrestricted core funding will be key.
Impact
Your work will directly unlock the funding that sustains workshops, mentorship, and community masterclasses, ensuring individuals have access to the skills and opportunities they need. Beyond fundraising, you will help position DevCircle within wider policy and innovation conversations, amplifying the voices and impact of our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and apply for UK-based and international grants.
- Write compelling bids that reflect our mission, lived experiences, and community impact.
- Build and maintain a diversified funding portfolio (trusts, foundations, public funds, philanthropies).
- Design and maintain a funding tracker, calendar, and reporting system.
- Develop proposal templates and storytelling assets (infographics, diagrams, case studies).
- Secure multi-year and unrestricted funding to sustain programmes and operations.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with funders.
- Draft reports, budgets, and impact summaries for stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the Founder and Partnerships team to align strategy.
