Position: Grants Administrator
Location: South Downs Centre, Midhurst

Salary: £29,396 to £32,061 (pro rata for part-time hours)
Hours: 37 hours per week (part-time considered, minimum 30 hours pw)
Type of Post: Permanent
The South Downs Trust is the official charity of South Downs National Park. It complements the work of the National Park Authority and its partners by supporting initiatives that enhance and extend habitats, increase outdoor engagement for children, improve landscape accessibility, and assist landowners and communities in their stewardship. This work is supported by the essential expert advice of South Downs National Park Rangers and external conservation partners, who ensure project quality.
Since its establishment, the Trust has significantly increased its income, now offering five regular grant opportunities in addition to bespoke themed grant funds. As Grants Administrator, you will contribute to the effective management of processes within our dedicated team, ensuring that funding is utilised to maximise impact.

In collaboration with the Grants Officer, responsibilities include:
- Responding to funding enquiries
- Processing payment requests
- Collecting project evaluations
The position also involves independent oversight of smaller funds from application through to completion and is ideal for candidates experienced in supporting organisational and financial procedures.
