Skills-based volunteering | Grants Lead, Renewed Hope East Surrey ✍
Renewed Hope supports people facing homelessness and hardship in East Surrey. We run a drop-in centre in Redhill which is open six days a week all year round, and a Winter Night Shelter in partnership with local churches.
Grant funding is central to keeping that work going. We're looking for a volunteer to own our grant pipeline - identifying opportunities, drafting applications and building a repeatable process.

What makes this role different
We're already using Microsoft Copilot on a limited basis to speed up research and drafting. You'll have the scope to shape how a small, local charity uses AI in fundraising, so that we can do more with the resources we have. That's a practical, current skill, and it has a real impact.
What we're looking for
- Grant or bid-writing experience, ideally, or a willingness to learn
- Confidence with Microsoft 365 and an interest in AI tools
- Around 2–3 days a month, flexible and hybrid (Redhill)
- Attendance at our committee meeting every two months, in person or online
