Grants Officer
Harris Hill is delighted to be recruiting for a Grants Officer on behalf of a growing and entrepreneurial charity supporting high-value philanthropy and grant-making in the UK and internationally.
Location: Central London (Hybrid – 2 days office / 2 days home working)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + bonuses
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced grant-maker with strong knowledge of UK charity law and grant-making compliance. You'll manage a varied portfolio of grants, undertake due diligence, and help deliver funding that creates meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and review grant requests in line with compliance requirements.
- Conduct due diligence and make balanced funding recommendations.
- Manage UK and international grant portfolios, including complex cases.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Keep up to date with charity law and sector developments.
- Support the continuous improvement of grant-making processes.
- Assist with impact reporting and represent the organisation at events where required.

About You
You will have:
- At least three years' experience in a UK grant-making or philanthropic organisation.
- Strong knowledge of UK charity law and Charity Commission guidance.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and excellent attention to detail.
