Job Title: Graphic and Motion Designer

Location: Hybrid — 2 days in the Leeds office, 3 remote
Type: Full-time
Experience: Up to 3 years. This one's for someone building a career

About Sharp

Seventeen years ago, we decided the industry had it backwards. Agencies guess. Consultancies overthink. We built something in between: a brand consultancy that works with the rigour of strategy and delivers with the energy of an agency. Today, we flourish in the heart of Leeds.

Putting the people who actually matter, from customers to teams to stakeholders, in the room. Building the answer with them, not for them. That's the platform we've spent 17 years building, testing and proving works. We call it Sharp Co-Create®. It's how we solve the brand challenges other people call unsolvable. 150+ workshops. Results that hold up under scrutiny. Impossible to ignore, because it isn't guesswork.

We're privately owned by three partners who built this business on the belief that work should be a force for good, for our clients and for the people who do it. Courage, Ownership, Curiosity, Kindness aren't a poster on the wall. They're how we hire, how we work, and how we hold each other to account. It's why every one of us gets a paid Volunteer Day: time back to put something into the causes that matter to us, not just the ones that make a good case study. Our standards are high, and we don't apologise for that.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Who You Are

You're not just good at this. You want to be great at it. You obsess over the details other people miss: the frame that's a beat too long, the kerning that's a hair off, the difference between a video people watch and one they skip.

You've got up to three years in the industry, and you're hungry for the next three to matter more. You want mentors who push you, briefs that stretch you, and a portfolio that gets sharper every year you're here.

If that's you, keep reading.

The Role

  • Graphic Design: Develop conceptually and visually engaging ideas for digital and print: brand identities, social, campaigns, presentations, website design. Support the team with artwork assets.
  • Video Production: Create compelling video from storyboard to execution. Confident with editing software. Comfortable with colour grading and audio editing. Content for online and offline.
  • Animation: Bring ideas to life. Build brand stories that move.
  • Brand Consistency: Own the detail. Keep every touchpoint on-brand, across print, digital and motion, in step with the wider team.
  • Collaboration: Work with strategy, client services and new business to understand the brief and deliver work that lands.
  • Stay Sharp: Track trends, tools and technologies. Bring fresh thinking to every project, proactively.
