Based in London, this is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded designer with a strong understanding of fashion trends and hands-on experience creating graphics specifically for apparel. You will be responsible for developing original, trend-led designs across T-shirts and licensed product, taking concepts from initial idea through to production-ready artwork.
The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for typography, illustration and colour, alongside a good technical understanding of garment decoration techniques including print, embroidery, transfers and appliqué.
This role offers hybrid working.
Main Responsibilities
- Creating original, trend-led graphics for apparel, including T-shirts and licensed product.
- Researching current and emerging fashion, graphic and cultural trends to inspire commercially relevant designs.
- Developing creative concepts across print, embroidery, appliqué, transfers and other garment embellishment techniques.
- Producing detailed, production-ready artwork and technical files for factories and suppliers.
- Working closely with factories throughout the sampling and approval process to ensure designs are executed to the required standard.
- Creating strong typography, illustration and placement graphics appropriate for different customers and product categories.
- Ensuring all artwork meets relevant copyright, licensing and production requirements.
- Reviewing samples and providing clear feedback on colour, scale, placement and technique.
- Working collaboratively with wider design, product and commercial teams to deliver ranges in line with critical path deadlines.
- Using Adobe Creative Suite and relevant AI-supported creative tools to support the design and development process.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
