Ready to lead the graphic direction for some of the world’s most ambitious live events and brand experiences? At Profiles Creative, we are partnering with a creatively driven full-service experience marketing agency—to find an exceptional Graphic Design Director.

As Graphic Design Director, you will champion visual excellence for large-scale event programmes, leading a high-performing creative team from initial concept through to live execution while driving modern design workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Creative Vision: Oversee graphic design strategy across major live experiences, exhibitions, and global event programmes, ensuring exceptional craft and brand consistency.
  • Develop Experiential Playbooks: Establish graphic frameworks and design guidelines that translate complex client communications into impactful physical environments.
  • Inspire & Mentor: Manage and guide a team of talented designers, creating clear progression plans and fostering a culture of creative experimentation.
  • Client Engagement: Partner directly with global brand leaders to consult on brand application, challenge briefs constructively, and pitch innovative visual solutions.
  • Drive Process Innovation: Integrate new AI-enabled design workflows and keep the team at the cutting edge of design technology and large-format production techniques.

  • Experiential Design Mastery: Proven track record leading graphic design for large-scale exhibitions, global conferences, and live brand experiences (critical).
  • Expert Software Skills: Advanced, hands-on mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) with strong technical knowledge of large-format print application (critical).
  • Creative Leadership: Extensive experience directing visual identity from initial concept to final delivery while guiding cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong ability to interpret complex briefs, manage project timelines, and deliver world-class solutions within scope and budget.
  • Right to Work: Full UK working rights, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Digital UI/UX Tools: Proficiency or working knowledge of Figma for digital integration and modern workflow collaboration.
  • AI Integration: Hands-on curiosity or experience using AI tools to optimize creative workflows.
