About us
We Are Your Friends is a London design agency that builds brands and designs ad campaigns for the live music industry. We make the assets that sell shows, tours, festivals, venues, comedy, & spoken word, for promoters and producers.
Our work goes out fast and it goes out everywhere: social media, OOH, press ads, posters on the underground, & campaign identities that have to hold up from a digital crop to a six-sheet. We're a small team, which means the work you do here you'll see out in the wild within days of finishing.
The role
On a day to day you'll be taking briefs from the account and creative leads and running them through to delivery across campaign identity, tour artwork, poster design and digital assets.
This is a craft role first. We care most about how you handle type, how you build a layout, and whether you can make an artist's image and a promoter's information co-exist on a page without one championing the other.
What you'll be doing
- Designing show and tour campaign artwork across digital and print
- Poster design from headline tour art through to venue and festival collateral
- Building out campaigns into full asset suites (socials, OOH, press, print & web)
- Contributing to brand identity work for venues, festivals and promoters
- Preparing artwork for print and working with printers and media partners on specs
- Presenting your work to key stakeholders internally and client facing
- Working to tight deadlines
- Maintain accurate and up to date timesheets

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for
Essential

- Solid understanding of colour theory and colour management. You know the difference between something that looks good on your screen and something that prints
- Comfortable across both digital and print, and able to move between the two in a day
- Experience of brand and identity work, not just artwork execution
- Able to present and explain your thinking and turn it around quickly
- Reliable with deadlines and organised with your own workload
