Graphic Designer

At Wates Smartspace, we create exceptional workplaces and environments for our clients across commercial, public sector, healthcare, education, and retail markets. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our team and help bring our brand, projects, and bid submissions to life.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented designer who enjoys producing high-quality visual content across both digital and print platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce engaging marketing materials, presentations, brochures, social media content, and project case studies.
  • Support the creation of visually compelling bid and tender submissions.
  • Develop graphics, infographics, and artwork that enhance client communications and brand storytelling.
  • Ensure all creative output aligns with Wates brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity.
  • Collaborate with bid, marketing, communications, and operational teams to deliver creative solutions that support business objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Graphic Design role, either in-house or agency-side.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and a range of design work.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently whilst contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience within construction, property, architecture, or the built environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
