Job Title
IMPORTANT: Please be advised that this is a full-time, in-person role based in our head office in Ipswich. Hybrid working will not be considered for this role.
About Us
Established in 1988, Bluestem Group is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers and distributors of electrical appliances and household goods. Through our brands Igenix, Statesman Appliances, and Ewbank, our product range covers categories such as cooling, heating, floorcare, tabletop cooking, food preparation, linen care, white goods, and more.
We are looking for an established Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating artwork for all print and digital marketing campaigns, including catalogues, product marketing, social, and promotional materials.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within multiple brand guidelines and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to lead the creative direction of and have an impact on the success of a portfolio of brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Using Adobe Creative Suite to produce print-ready artwork for promotional brochures and catalogues
- Creating product artwork including user manuals, shipping labels, and packaging designs across multiple brands
- Designing A+ imagery for use on Ecommerce sites such as Amazon
- Plan and execute internal and external product photoshoots as required according to the social media and product marketing plan
- Collate and edit all product imagery and format as required for all platforms
- Create promotional PDF artwork as per our monthly promotional sales calendar
- Produce artwork for email marketing campaigns and customer communications
- Assist Marketing Executive with content creation for LinkedIn, Meta, and TikTok as required
- Creating and maintaining brand guidelines and ensuring brand consistency across all creative output
- Create artwork for company newsletters, trade press advertisements, and press releases
- Support the Marketing Team with planning and produce design material for trade shows and exhibitions, with flexibility to attend for set up and breakdown when required (this will require travel outside of your standard contracted working hours)
- Assist with general admin tasks, such as auditing websites to ensure imagery is up to date, taking staff headshots, and other duties as required

Skills & Experience

- At least 3 years’ experience working in a commercial graphic design role
- Strong portfolio of relevant work and demonstrating advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience in product photography including white background and lifestyle photos
- Knowledge of print production, artwork and proofing processes.
- A strong creative eye and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
- Team player
- Confidence
- Willingness to travel
Desirable Skills
- Experience in working across multiple brands, e.g. design agency or freelance
- Experience in B2B marketing, particularly in the consumer goods/small appliances sector
- Experience in trade or press exhibitions/events
