Job Title
Great design doesn't just make things look good—it builds trust, tells stories, and makes cutting-edge technology feel human.
At Dexory, we're redefining warehouse automation with robotics and AI, and we're looking for a Graphic Designer who wants to shape the visual identity of a fast-growing tech company. From product launches and social campaigns to event experiences and even the branding on our robots, your work will be seen everywhere our brand shows up.
This is a role for someone who loves variety, enjoys solving creative challenges, and wants the freedom to bring fresh ideas to life. You'll collaborate with marketers, product teams, and commercial stakeholders to turn complex ideas into bold, engaging visuals that connect with customers.
Whether you're crafting standout campaign assets, creating motion graphics, experimenting with AI-powered creative workflows, or helping evolve our brand system, you'll play a key role in defining how Dexory is experienced across every touchpoint.
If you're excited by the opportunity to work with emerging technology, build a brand that's growing globally, and create work that has real commercial impact, we'd love to see your portfolio.
You will be required to be onsite in Wallingford at least 1 day per week.
Responsibilities
- Turn briefs into compelling visual concepts, presenting and defending your creative rationale with growing confidence.
- Design marketing collateral across print and digital; campaign assets, site branding, branded templates, sales decks, event collateral and more, all consistent with brand guidelines.
- Develop visual concepts and brand identities for new product launches, feature updates and marketing campaigns.
- Create engaging, on-brand content for social media, email and the website, working at the pace of a fast-moving, high-growth business demands.
- Support robot and site branding, adapting approved designs for client environments and preparing accurate, print-ready production files for the Operations team.
- Contribute to photography and videography shoots, providing design and art-direction support under guidance from senior creative colleagues.
- Prepare print-ready artwork to supplier specification and liaise directly with print and production suppliers on day-to-day jobs.
- Identify and pitch new creative opportunities, and stay close to design and marketing trends so Dexory's visual identity keeps feeling current.
- Work within agreed project budgets and timelines, and manage your own file organisation and version control to a professional standard.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Required Experience and Skills
- A degree or equivalent qualification in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field — or an equivalent portfolio built through experience.
- Around 2–5 years' experience as a designer, with a strong portfolio spanning multiple formats and channels; a mix of agency and in-house experience is a plus.
- Confident, independent use of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for print- and screen-ready artwork; working knowledge of Figma; After Effects or motion/animation experience is a genuine advantage.
- Practical, thoughtful use of AI-assisted design tools as part of a modern workflow — comfortable with where they speed things up and where they don't.
- A solid grasp of brand systems: applying guidelines accurately and consistently, and speaking up when something doesn't fit.
- Strong typographic and layout craft, and a working understanding of accessibility basics (colour contrast, legibility) across digital and print.
- Confident communicator, comfortable presenting concepts and taking feedback from stakeholders across marketing, product and the wider business.
- Commercially aware — understands how design quality connects to brand perception and campaign performance, and works comfortably within budgets and deadlines.
