About The Role
The Lead Graphic Designer at Net World Sports is a pivotal role responsible for steering the visual identity across all digital and physical touchpoints. This role involves transforming strategic commercial objectives into compelling visual narratives through innovative design solutions. The successful candidate will oversee the development and maintenance of scalable design systems using Figma, ensuring consistency across digital storefronts, marketing campaigns, and packaging. Additionally, they will prepare technical artwork for print, manage print pre-press processes, and integrate generative AI tools into daily workflows to enhance productivity. As a leader, you will guide and mentor a team of talented designers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the visual direction of a fast-paced, forward-thinking company while leveraging cutting-edge technology to streamline creative processes.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a proven track record of leading visual projects within e-commerce, creative agencies, or commercial design teams. A strong portfolio demonstrating lead-level work across digital design systems, multi-channel campaigns, and packaging is essential. Practical experience with generative AI tools such as Claude Design and ComfyUI is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to incorporate innovative technologies into production workflows. Expertise in Figma, including auto-layout, component variants, and design tokens, alongside proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), is required. Candidates should also have a solid understanding of packaging artwork, print manufacturing tolerances, and pre-flight checks. Additionally, a good grasp of UX principles, conversion rate optimization, and digital marketing insights will enable you to communicate effectively with stakeholders and align design strategies with business objectives.

Responsibilities
The Lead Graphic Designer will be responsible for:
- Creating and managing comprehensive design systems, including building and scaling Figma component libraries, responsive grids, and design tokens for digital, marketing, and print applications.
- Translating campaign briefs into complete visual suites, covering e-commerce assets, performance marketing materials, retail packaging, and point-of-sale displays.
- Overseeing packaging artwork and print pre-press processes, such as cutter guides and material specifications.
- Establishing visual hierarchy and asset standards for category landing pages, balancing aesthetics with user experience, accessibility, and CRO principles.
- Leading and mentoring the design team, providing daily guidance, creative direction, and constructive feedback, fostering a high-performing environment.
- Managing workflow and operations, integrating generative AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, and overseeing sprint planning, request prioritization, and team capacity to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work across departments.
