With 37 inspiring lifestyle hotels across the UK, Malmaison & Hotel du Vin offer unparalleled sophistication, tailored service, and authentic experiences. Each of our properties tells a unique story, combining timeless elegance with modern luxury.
We have an exciting newly created opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join us and hold the keys to the visual identities of two of the UK’s most distinctive boutique hospitality brands: the bold, edgy, and chic Malmaison, and the classic, refined, and wine-centric Hotel du Vin.
Managing a portfolio of 37 luxury boutique properties, you will serve as the sole in-house creative force and the ultimate brand gatekeeper. You will be responsible for translating high-level brand strategies into stunning, highly cohesive visual experiences across both digital and physical touchpoints - from tactile, high-end menus and seasonal wine lists to dynamic social media motion graphics and spatial signage.
While you will have access to external agency support for large-scale campaigns, you will be the driving force setting the creative direction, managing agency outputs, and empowering 37 hotel teams with the self-serve templates and assets they need to deliver flawless local marketing.
What You'll Be Doing As a Graphic Designer
- Maintain, evolve, and protect the unique visual identities and distinct brand guidelines for both Malmaison and Hotel du Vin.
- Lead the creative ideation and development of seasonal campaigns, F&B launches, and promotions to establish "hero" visual assets.
- Curate and organise a robust digital asset management system to guarantee flawless file organization and version control.
- Design and oversee the production of high-quality, tactile print assets including menus, wine lists, signage, and guest-facing collateral.
- Produce engaging digital graphics, email layouts, website banners, and high-performing social media content for Instagram and TikTok.
- Develop intuitive templates and training resources to empower local hotel teams while protecting core brand integrity.
- Act as the primary creative lead and contact for external agencies, briefing and refining assets to ensure they meet brand standards.
- Partner with corporate marketing and hotel teams across 37 properties to interpret design briefs, manage timelines, and set expectations.
- Coordinate directly with premium print vendors to select finishes, paper stocks, and sign off on printer proofs for flawless physical output.
- Analyse digital asset performance alongside marketing teams to optimize designs for UX/UI, email campaigns, and online advertising.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
