Job Description

Job Title: Graphic Designer

Location: London

Reports to: Head of Graphic Design

About us

DeMellier is a London-based brand that was founded with the vision of doing things differently: to design handbags that would make women feel empowered, made ethically and sustainably, while giving back to those who need it most. These principles guide everything we do. All our pieces are crafted ethically in Europe using the finest sustainably sourced materials. We champion equality, and for every piece sold, we fund vaccines and medical treatments aimed at saving the life of a child in need. So far, through our permanent charity initiative, ‘A Bag, A Life’, in partnership with SOS Children’s Villages, we have funded over 2.5 million vaccines. Join us and be part of an award-winning, purpose-driven brand that fosters creativity, collaboration, and meaningful impact within the luxury industry.

The Role

As a Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in delivering DeMellier’s visual identity across all customer and brand touchpoints.

Reporting to the Head of Graphic Design and working closely with Marketing, Digital, Wholesale, and other cross-functional teams, you will create considered, high-quality design across digital, social, print, packaging and marketing communications.

You will have a strong eye for detail, typography, layout and imagery, with the ability to translate creative direction into elevated and engaging brand assets. You will work across multiple projects and channels, ensuring a consistent and refined visual identity balancing design thinking with commercial awareness. This is an exciting opportunity for a designer with a strong understanding of luxury and fashion aesthetics and visual storytelling to join a fast-growing brand with a clear focus on quality, craftsmanship and considered design.

Job Requirements

  • 3–6 years’ relevant experience in a similar graphic design role, either in-house or at an agency, ideally within fashion, luxury, retail or e-commerce.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent graphic design, layout, typography and visual storytelling.
  • Excellent understanding of brand aesthetics and a highly developed visual eye.
  • Advanced skills in Figma, with knowledge of Design Systems a real plus.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Image editing and basic retouching skills are a plus.
  • Interest in utilising AI tools within workflows.
  • Good understanding of print processes and production requirements.
  • Experience creating design across digital, social, e-commerce and print channels.
  • An understanding of social media best practices and an interest in digital trends, platform innovation and emerging formats.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to artwork and asset delivery.
  • A collaborative team player who actively contributes to creative discussions, feedback and brainstorming.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both creative and non-creative stakeholders.
  • A genuine interest in fashion, luxury, design and contemporary visual culture.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Please provide a CV and portfolio of relevant work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
