About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Net World Sports. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels. The Logistics Coordinator will work closely with suppliers, warehouse teams, and delivery partners to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain efficiency. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about logistics and supply chain management to contribute to a fast-paced and growing organization. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. A bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or a relevant discipline is preferred. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and transportation logistics is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, and familiarity with logistics software will be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the transportation and delivery of products to ensure timely arrival at designated locations.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries using appropriate software tools.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to schedule shipments and resolve any logistical issues.
- Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and courier services.
- Assist in inventory planning and forecasting to meet customer demand and reduce excess stock.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Provide regular reports on logistics performance metrics to management for strategic decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain operations.
