The team manages projects from initial concept through to production, print, delivery, and installation, offering a complete end-to-end service. With over 35 years of experience, Coastline Graphics has built a reputation for functional, visually appealing designs across a wide range of printed and digital outputs. The company is based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, within easy reach of Cambridge, Ipswich, and London, serving a diverse client base across the region.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Graphic Designer/ Artworker role based in Bury St Edmunds. The role involves creating and preparing artwork for vehicle graphics, vinyl wraps, banners, signage, exhibition displays, and other printed materials, ensuring designs meet brand and production requirements. The Graphic Designer/ Artworker will collaborate with the wider team to interpret client briefs, develop concepts, refine designs, and prepare files for print and digital output. Day-to-day tasks include working with design software, setting up print-ready files, checking proofs, and supporting the production process to maintain quality and consistency. The role also includes client communication, participation in project reviews, and contribution to the continuous improvement of design standards and workflows.

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Graphic Design, with experience creating logos and branding designs.
- Candidates should possess skills in Typography, with the ability to choose and apply type effectively for readability and visual impact.
- Candidates should have proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and an understanding of print production processes.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, the ability to follow brand guidelines, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Candidates should have effective communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively on-site in a small team environment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Candidates would benefit from prior experience in signage, vehicle graphics, or large-format printing, and a portfolio showcasing relevant design work.
- Candidates are typically expected to have relevant education or training in graphic design to degree level and above.
- Motion and animation skills would be a benefit.
- Design for social media and photography skills would also be beneficial.
