Ready to make your mark at Pet Brands?
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer / Artworker to join the creative team at Pet Brands, bringing ideas to life from the first creative concept through to the finished product on shelf.
Based in Birstall, West Yorkshire, you’ll work across our growing portfolio of pet brands and product ranges, while supporting the wider Group when needed. No two days will look quite the same: one brief might be a new packaging range, the next a retail display, and the next a social campaign brought to life with motion.
If you’re commercially minded, creatively curious and enjoy seeing your work out in the real world, this could be a great fit.
What will you be working on?
You’ll have a genuinely varied mix of creative projects, including:
- Packaging design & artwork across multiple Pet Brands product ranges
- POS, FSDUs and in-store activations for retail customers
- Digital campaign assets for social, web and online retail
- Motion graphics and animation, turning static creative into engaging digital content
- Product concepts and NPD, working alongside the Product team to develop ideas into exciting new ranges
- Creative adaptations across different formats, channels, brands and audiences
- Print-ready artwork, amends and production files — making sure every detail is spot on

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
