We are working with an established fashion business who are looking for a talented and commercial Kidswear Graphic Designer to join their growing design team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative, trend-led designer with strong experience across kidswear graphics, ideally gained within a supplier or retail environment. You will be working across a variety of well-known UK supermarket and high-street retail accounts, creating commercial and exciting graphics that are relevant to each customer.
The role would suit someone who is passionate about kidswear, understands the UK retail market and can balance creativity with strong commercial awareness.
Main Responsibilities
- Designing commercial, trend-led graphics across boys' and girls' kidswear.
- Creating graphics, prints, placements, slogans, typography, and character-led concepts across a variety of product categories.
- Working across multiple UK supermarket and retail accounts, adapting handwriting and design direction to suit different customers.
- Researching seasonal trends, emerging graphic directions, colour, print, and wider market influences.
- Producing mood boards, trend packs, and graphic concepts for customer presentations.
- Translating trend inspiration into commercial and customer-appropriate designs.
- Working closely with garment designers, account managers, buyers, and wider product teams throughout the design and development process.
- Creating detailed artwork and preparing files for production.
- Understanding different print techniques and considering production requirements when developing artwork.
- Reacting quickly to customer briefs and providing creative solutions within tight deadlines.
- Keeping up to date with competitor activity and developments across the UK kidswear market.
- Managing multiple projects and customer briefs simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work.

- Previous experience working as a Kidswear Graphic Designer, ideally within a fashion retailer, supplier, or similar fast-paced environment.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating commercial kidswear graphics, prints, and placement designs.
- Experience designing for UK supermarket and/or high-street retail accounts would be highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of the UK kidswear market and current graphic and fashion trends.
- Confident adapting your design handwriting to suit different customers and price points.
- Excellent skills across Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of colour, typography, print, placement graphics, and artwork preparation.
- Knowledge of print techniques and garment production would be beneficial.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Based within a commutable distance of the company's UK design offices, with flexibility depending on the successful candidate.
