Job Description

We are looking for a talented Licensing Designer to join our design team. This is a multi-product role primarily focusing on womenswear and nightwear, with occasional projects across kidswear.

Working closely with another Designer, you will be responsible for developing licensed print concepts from initial inspiration through to production. You will work with a wide range of high-street retailers and supermarkets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Senior Designer and Account Managers across product development for multiple apparel categories (womenswear, nightwear, kids)
  • Developing design presentations in response to creative briefs.
  • Design placement graphics and all-over prints, across multiple womenswear categories, with commercial end-use always in mind.
  • Keeping an eye on emerging global trends and creating company seasonal trend mood boards.
  • Providing general design support to help projects run smoothly.
  • Providing support to the Approvals Team to review strike-offs and print samples, so they are able to provide clear feedback to suppliers.

What you'll bring

  • Experience in apparel design, preferably license.
  • Confident user of Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects.
  • Ability to work at speed, be a team player and an excellent communicator.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative and proactive, with the confidence to contribute ideas.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond quickly to changing business priorities.
