Graphic Designer & Video Editor
Status: Permanent
Hours: Full time
Location: Batley, West Yorkshire
Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience
One Nation is a UK-based charity operating in over 30 countries around the world, supporting the vulnerable and those most in need. To continue fulfilling this commitment, One Nation requires a Senior Digital Marketing Officer based in our head office in Batley, West Yorkshire who will be part of a dynamic team.
We are looking for a talented, creative, and driven Graphic Designer & Video Editor to join our team at our Batley office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality visual content across our digital, social media, fundraising, and marketing channels. You will work closely with the wider team to develop engaging designs and videos that communicate our work, campaigns, and impact effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging graphics for social media, campaigns, advertisements, posters, leaflets, presentations, and digital platforms.
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media, campaigns, fundraising appeals, and promotional content.
- Develop creative concepts and visual ideas that communicate messages clearly and effectively.
- Create content in a range of formats and sizes for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and websites.
- Work closely with the marketing, fundraising, and projects teams to understand briefs and deliver content to deadlines.
- Assist with photography, video shoots, and content creation when required.
- Adapt and repurpose existing creative assets for different campaigns and platforms.
- Maintain consistency across branding, typography, imagery, and overall visual identity.
- Contribute creative ideas and proactively identify opportunities to improve our visual content.
- Support the creation and development of website graphics and digital assets.
- Have a basic understanding of web development and how design integrates with websites.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in graphic design and video editing.
- Strong experience using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
- Good understanding of graphic design principles, typography, composition, and visual communication.
- Strong video editing skills, including pacing, transitions, audio, and visual storytelling.
- Creative with a strong eye for detail.
- Self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to understand and respond to creative briefs.
- Basic knowledge of web development and website design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating previous graphic design and video work.

Desirable Skills
- Experience creating content for charities, non-profits, or purpose-driven organisations.
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and motion graphics.
- Experience with photography and videography.
- Knowledge of UI/UX and responsive web design.
- Understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Understanding of Google marketing and website management.
- Experience creating short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Experience working within established brand guidelines.

You should be comfortable receiving a brief and turning it into creative content, while also having the confidence to suggest new ideas and approaches.
