CONTRACT GRAPHIC DESIGNER
£350 per day (INSIDE IR35)
3–6 months initially (potential to go perm also)
Hybrid (1 day a week in Cambridge office)
Start ASAP (mid-September at the latest)
Working pattern:
Every Tuesday in the Cambridge office, with the remainder working from home
Hours:
This is a collaborative, global team working across different time zones, so flexibility outside a strict 9–5 will be required.
The team operates much like an in-house agency, supporting a wide range of stakeholders and projects across the business. This is a genuinely varied role, with an approximate 50/50 split between digital and print, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety and can confidently take work from initial idea through to final artwork.
THE ROLE
You'll be working across a broad mix of design projects, adapting your approach to different audiences, formats, and requirements. The work could range from digital communications and campaigns through to printed collateral, presentations, and other business-critical communications.

You'll also be creating and developing PowerPoint presentations, so strong PowerPoint skills are essential.
The subject matter is highly technical, and the audiences are often technically sophisticated. You don't need to come from a technology background, but you'll need to be curious, comfortable getting under the skin of complex subject matter, and interested in understanding the wider business.
THE CANDIDATE
- Has strong graphic design fundamentals and excellent attention to detail
- Can confidently work across both digital and print
- Has experience taking projects from initial concept through to final artwork
- Is highly proficient in PowerPoint
- Is comfortable working across a wide variety of projects and formats
- Can work autonomously and hit the ground running
- Is confident working with a broad range of stakeholders, including people across different teams and time zones
- Has a strong portfolio demonstrating quality of design craft and execution
- Ideally has some previous in-house experience
