We succeeded thanks to a team of amazing people. They spend their days collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from a wide range of live sporting events. If you combine this real-time data with our 40-year-old archives, elite journalists, camera operators, copywriters, the latest in AI wizardry, and a host of 'behind the scenes' support staff, you've got all the ingredients to make it a magical experience!
Responsibilities:
Do you know Giannis’ surname? Are you the type of person who hangs on every word of a Mikel Arteta press conference? Can you explain why xG matters, while also knowing your Xs from your Os? If so, this could be the perfect job for you.

As a Graphics Assistant Producer you will be involved in making engaging bespoke content for brands, organisations and other clients, while working alongside our global team of journalists covering the biggest teams, players and stories across the sporting world, from across the planet. With access to the best sports data in the world, extensive newsgathering and an exciting highlights portfolio, we create engaging video output for a range of digital, broadcast, and social clients – and we want you to be at the heart of all of it.

Required Qualifications:
- Creating on-trend content tailored to the needs of third-party brands and sports leagues in digital, social and broadcast formats. We take their brand guidelines and mix our expertise with Opta’s wealth of extensive sports data to create videos which engage their audiences across multiple platforms.
- We need someone equally comfortable pitching and delivering an idea for a brand-new concept as they are taking an existing template and producing output to exacting standards. You will be scripting, editing and delivering your own work.
- Building bespoke graphics for one-off use and wider production, helping ensure we deliver the highest quality of output across the board.
- Liaise with external customers, as well as our own newsdesk, international and support teams as necessary to ensure a smooth workflow of content.
- MOGRT creation – Build dynamic Motion Graphics Templates in After Effects for use in Premiere Pro
- Expression scripting – Comfortable writing JavaScript-based expressions to drive animation logic in After Effects
- Design fundamentals – Understanding of core design principles including layout and composition, spacing and visual hierarchy, and colour theory
Desired Qualifications:
- First-rate knowledge of a range of sports (soccer is essential).
- A flair for producing engaging video suitable for digital, social and broadcast consumers.
- Demonstrated expertise in applying customer brand guidelines and specific style parameters with a high degree of accuracy.
- Extensive experience of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products, especially After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- The self-motivation to work on your own as well as within a team.
- An ability to work with data and tell stories using stats and insights.
- The ability to work well to tight deadlines in a pressurised environment.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Broadcast journalism qualification or relevant experience.
- An ability to film on broadcast-standard cameras may lead to additional opportunities as part of our newsgathering operation.
