Graphics Programmer
We're looking for an experienced Graphics Programmer to step in and own our rendering systems as we continue development on multiple high-profile projects. This is an immediate need, and we need someone who can take full ownership of complex rendering challenges from day one.
We have a strong foundation in place, but we need a skilled engineer to stabilize and advance our graphics pipeline as projects scale. This role is about stepping into a critical position, taking ownership of proven systems, and ensuring rendering performance and quality across our portfolio. You won't be building from scratch; you'll be inheriting well-architected systems and the responsibility to maintain, optimize, and evolve them as our projects demand. If you thrive on ownership, solving real problems under deadline, and delivering results on systems that matter, this is the role for you.
What you will do
- Own and maintain rendering systems and graphics pipelines across multiple projects and console generations
- Write robust, performant C++ code that forms the backbone of our proprietary Glacier engine
- Profile, debug, and optimize rendering performance across CPU and GPU, with deep focus on platform-specific constraints
- Collaborate with engine systems teams to improve data flow, memory management, and rendering feature integration
- Implement and optimize advanced rendering techniques for complex visual systems including cloth, crowds, terrain, weather, and environmental effects
- Maintain and strengthen rendering architecture as projects move into production

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
