About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Greenkeeper to join our team at Lingfield Park Resort.
Reporting to the Head Greenkeeper and Estates Manager, you will play an important role in maintaining and presenting our golf course, clubhouse surrounds and driving range to the highest possible standards.
This is a hands-on, outdoor role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail and enjoys working as part of a team in a busy, outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and prepare the golf course, ensuring all playing areas are presented to a high standard.
- Carry out a variety of turf maintenance tasks, including mowing, aeration, scarifying, fertilising, irrigation and top dressing.
- Prepare the course for daily play, including changing holes, moving tee markers, maintaining bunkers and repairing divots.
- Maintain the driving range, including cutting, presentation and collecting golf balls when required.
- Assist with course improvement projects, including construction and renovation work on bunkers, tees, greens and drainage.
- Operate and maintain groundskeeping machinery and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Follow health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE and compliance with COSHH requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to maintain the highest standards across the estate.

About You
- Previous experience in outdoor, year-round labouring or grounds maintenance.
- A relevant Level 1 or above qualification in Turf Maintenance.
- GCSEs or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards.
- Good timekeeping skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A flexible and proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Previous experience in sports turf maintenance would be an advantage.
